The petals are curled and severely wrinkled, with a dark, almost blackish color. The flower shape is collapsed, and the petals are easily detached or damaged.

Flower freeze dryer (vacuum freeze-drying equipment) is the core equipment for processing freeze-dried flowers. It is mainly composed of pre-freezing system, vacuum system, heating system and control system. Its working principle is to prune and sort fresh flowers, pre-freeze them at a low temperature of -25℃ to -45℃ to form ice crystals inside, and then sublimate and dehydrate the ice crystals directly in a vacuum environment, with the whole temperature not exceeding 35℃ to avoid damaging petal tissue. The core characteristics of freeze-dried flower finished products are “retaining the original flower shape, bright color and light texture”, which are specifically manifested as: the appearance is basically consistent with the color of fresh flowers ,such as freeze-dried roses remain bright red/pink, freeze-dried lavender remains light purple, the flower shape is full and complete, the petals are wrinkle-free and non-falling, and the flower stem is straight; the texture is light and dry, the hand feel is fluffy, it is not easy to be damaged when touched lightly, and the section is fine honeycomb-shaped; the water content is low :usually ≤5%, no mildew, no peculiar smell, and it can keep its shape and aroma for a long time when stored in a sealed state at room temperature. The finished products are mainly divided into two forms:

Complete bouquet form: such as freeze-dried rose bouquets and gypsophila bouquets, used for gifts and home decoration;
